A New Law for Working Parents Is Needed

  • June 17th, 2010

I had my first born recently and appreciated first-hand on the costly expenditures to care for a baby. The lowest charge for childcare is estimated at £300 every week and this would bite off a big portion of what I get paid for. I was also informed that for every extra hour that your child is left at preshool another £20 would apply, we no longer live in those days where schools willingly take refuge of our babies without cost while we ran into emergency. What is required, in my opinion, is an improved parental rights for people who are in the work force, otherwise what is the purpose of working, I might as well be on benefits if my whole page contributes towards day care for my kid. A system that does not penalize working parents is necessary. A system that allows parents to work hours based around preschools hours. Granted in some works this would be impractical but for most works this would be easier than perceived to change so that the hours match within school/nursery time. In fact similar system is already in place, an acquaintant of mine successfully argued and granted a work arrangement with her employer whereby she works only when her kid is in school she may have to settle for little smaller paycheck due to the reduced number of work hours but she is satisfied. This system would be valuable to so many parents who have made up their minds to be dependent on benefits since it is the same as working. It would get people back to the workforce, bring about better future and cash flow and so long you stay working your life will be more purposeful realiasing you are being an asset to the society. Over the long haul it would save the government tons of money after the initial spending of enforcing it. It would be something that the regulator would have to make law if not employers would just not put in the effort of effecting the changes choosing profit rather than parents rights. Strangely this easy solution does not seem to gain traction with authorities perhaps it is easier to just distribute out the benefits and subsequently blamed those receiving them . I regard that my situation is not a localized incident; I imagine thousands more working parents are grappling with the same problem, it is only prudent for the government to step in to relieve us from this struggle.

What Makes Three Wheeler Pushchairs Special

  • October 5th, 2009

There is so much variety of pushchairs available in the market that it is easy to feel overwhelmed. As a new parent, you have to choose only one pushchair for your child, and while considerations of cost and design are important, the most crucial factor to be kept in mind when purchasing a pushchair is the utility that it will be able to offer to you.

Three wheeler pushchairs are immensely popular amongst young, active families and there are several reasons why this is so. They are meant for couples or single parents who lead a very active lifestyle and take their babies with them practically everywhere, whether by choice or necessity. They are high on convenience, durability and adaptability to different kinds of terrain and the focus of the design is on providing ease of use to you as a parent, and allowing you to carry on your daily activities without a hitch.

They are fairly compact, though in some models the large pneumatic wheels, which can negotiate sand, rocky terrain or even muddy ground with ease, make them slightly bulky to store. Some three-wheeler pushchairs are specially designed for use while jogging, but most other models do not serve this purpose quite as well.

Three-wheeler pushchairs downplay elegance and style in favour of functionality, with under-carriage compartments for keeping goods while shopping and all-weather covers and bonnets to protect your child from the elements as you go through your busy schedule. This is yet another factor, which makes them ideal for parents who have a hectic, demanding lifestyle.
