The research study involved workers of nine organisations over a period of one year from 2008 to 2009. </p>

Though may factors were responsible for increase in stress levels, bullying by other workers contributed significantly to the mental stress of an employee. </p>

Disturbing the balance can lead to severe repercussions including depression. But all is not lost.</p>

<p class="MsoNormal">According to a research, women are more likely to suffer from heart disease if they face high stress at work. The research comes on the heels of an HSE report this week that said that shift work makes women more susceptible to breast cancer, with nearly 2000 women being diagnosed with this condition in the <st1:country-region w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">UK</st1:place></st1:country-region>.</p>

<p class="MsoNormal">Researchers in a Danish Study closely monitored the health of over 12000 female nurses Although similar attempts have been made to study the risks of heart disease in men, very few health studies have been conducted among women employees.</p>

<p class="MsoNormal">The researchers studied over 12000 female nurses aged between 45-64 years of age about the work pressure they experienced at work and kept a close watch on their health for 15 years from 1993 to 2008. </p>

<p class="MsoNormal">It was seen that 580 of them had been diagnosed with heart diseases, which included 369 cases of angina and 138 cases of heart attacks.</p>

<p class="MsoNormal">Keeping other virulent factors at hand like smoking and diabetes, the researchers found that those who stated their work pressure as extremely high were 50% more prone to develop heart disease. <p class="MsoNormal">A City of <st1:city w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">London</st1:place></st1:city> business centre has expanded its space by adding another let floor that is already signed for, after a sharp increase in demand for <a href="http://www.deskspacegenie.co.uk/">shared office space</a>.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">The new floor has had interior and exterior redecoration and was opened at the beginning of April, but before it officially opened six businesses had already signed up for the space.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Along with reports for demand in prime serviced office space, the City centre has exhibited a 29% increase in enquiries for workspace since 2010 opened.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">The building centre is operated by Avanta, the serviced office provider, and was launched in January of 2009 and was let 80% just a three months after officially opening its doors.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">David Alberto, the managing director of Avanta, stated that with nearly 700 enquiries for available workspace located near the city since the beginning of the year, the company is very optimistic.<span style="">  </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">He explained that generally it takes a year to two years for office space to become completely filled, so the fact that the new floor was half let before it opened shows that demand is on the rise.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">The centre is found in a quiet square near the Liverpool Street Station offering it the ability to charm potential letters with a calm environment despite being in the midst of a central <a href="http://www.thisislondon.co.uk/standard-business/article-23801144-london-property-best-in-eu-for-investment.do"><st1:city w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">London</st1:place></st1:city> business location</a>.<span style="">  </span>Originally, the complex was made up of spice warehouses giving it a period look that was maintained despite plenty of refurbishment.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">The square is partially roofed so that it offers protection from the rush of <st1:street w:st="on"><st1:address w:st="on">Liverpool Street</st1:address></st1:street> while allowing businesses to take advantages of the opportunities of a central city location.</p>

He added that the company is looking forward to reducing its debt while taking into account the market considerations and conducting a through evaluation of the current assets of the company. <p class="MsoNormal">Though Atkins is hopeful about positive outcome for Hammerson, especially since it has interest in the Brent Cross shopping centre, the Bristol Cabot Circus and the Bullring in Birmingham, statistics suggest that the shopping centre witnessed a meagre rise of 1.7% in sales while the French portfolio of Hammerson witnessed a fall of .5%. </p>
