Mark Ronson – New Album Is Better

Mark Ronson has claimed that his new album beats he originally thought. The ‘Stop Me’ producer, who is at present working on the follow-up to 2007’s Version, has enrolled a bunch of cooperators for the record. In a chat with Popjustice he claimed the LP, titled Record Collection, will include Boy George, Kaiser Chiefs’ Nick Hodgson and rapper Wiley, admitting : “It’s better than I assumed it may be.
“He described his track with George, called ‘Somebody to like Me’, as ‘Do you actually need to Hurt Me 2010′, referring to Culture Club’s number one hit. Ronson also claimed the album will be released under his new moniker, Mark Ronson & The Business Intl, to avoid what he descibed what might otherwise be a “starf**kery tracklisting”.
Talking about the creative process behind the album, he confessed : “There’s music here that I did not understand how to make a year ago.” Record Collection will be released in Sep , predated by ‘Bang Bang Bang’ on July eleven.
